This Extended Warranty is available on Mobility Scooter purchased from us.
We are pleased to offer an extension to the warranty on your mobility scooter. This extension covers your scooter for an additional year from the original date of purchase and includes a service for your scooter during that year. However, this warranty does not cover batteries, tyre punctures, motor bushes, electrical magnetic brake, lights, or bulbs.
Warranty Coverage
This warranty extension covers your mobility scooter for any defects in materials or workmanship that arise during normal use. If any such defects are found, we will repair or replace the parts as necessary.
Additionally, this warranty includes a service for your mobility scooter during the extension period. This service will include a thorough inspection of your scooter and any necessary repairs or maintenance. If any parts need to be replaced during the service, which are not covered by the warranty they will be charged as an additional cost to you.
The warranty also covers the free use of a mobility scooter whilst yours is off the road, so keeping you mobile.
All warranty work must be carried out at the Ezze Mobility workshop, and it is the responsibility of the Mobility scooter owner to get the scooter to our workshop, recovery of the scooter is not covered by the warranty.
Exclusions
The following components are not covered by this warranty:
- Batteries
The batteries in your mobility scooter are considered consumable items and are not covered by this warranty extension. We recommend that you follow the manufacturer’s instructions for maintaining and charging your batteries to ensure their longevity.
- Tyre Punctures
Tyre punctures are not covered by this warranty extension. However, we recommend that you purchase a spare inner tube to replace any punctured tubes.
- Motor Bushes
The motor bushes in your mobility scooter are considered wear and tear items and are not covered by this warranty extension. If these parts need to be replaced during the service, they will be at an additional cost to you.
- Electrical Magnetic Brake
The electrical magnetic brake in your mobility scooter is considered a service item and is not covered by this warranty extension. If this part needs to be replaced during the service, it will be at an additional cost to you.
- Lights and Bulbs
Lights and bulbs are not covered by this warranty extension. If any bulbs need to be replaced during the service, they will be at an additional cost to you.
Limitations
This warranty extension is only valid for the original purchaser of the mobility scooter and is non-transferable. Additionally, this warranty extension only covers defects in materials or workmanship that arise during normal use of the scooter.
Any damage caused by misuse or neglect, including but not limited to, accidents, water damage, modifications, or repairs made by unauthorized personnel, is not covered by this warranty extension.
To make a claim under this warranty extension, you must provide proof of purchase, including the date of purchase and the original purchase price of the scooter.
